Valentines Day: Does size really matter?
February 15, 2009For most of us, Valentines Day is that special day when we get the chance to “officially” splurge in the name of LOVE. Oftentimes, we expect our partners and/or lovers or would be lovers to give us 12 long stemmed red roses or treat us to a fancy dinner at the town’s fanciest fine dining restaurant; or maybe treat us to a full-speed-GO! (wink-wink!) romantic accommodation in a five-star hotel’s premier honeymooner’s suite. And yes, even in these trying times, these things happen. And hey, that’s no problem at all!
But is this really what Valentines Day is all about? I have never celebrated Valentines Day, ever! And i do not say this because i’m grudging or sour graping or anything. I just think that love and its declarations could happen even in simple things. It doesn’t matter where or how, because the important thing is the “who” you are celebrating it with.
